2011 has been an exciting year for Potiki Adventures with the expansion of the Maori Tourism Company to Waiheke Island, situated in the Hauraki Gulf, 35 minutes by ferry from Downtown Auckland City. Potiki Adventures will be in it’s 8th year of business in February 2012 and will by then, be 2 months into the running of the new day tour Island Maori Experience being offered on Waiheke Island to overseas visitors.
The expansion of Potiki Adventures to Waiheke Island was a natural progression for the small Maori owned and operated Tourism Company, after the success of tours offered in the Auckland region.
